As some of you may have read I set a goal of reading 100 books this year. I know it seems like a lot and it is. I was doing really well until the baby bomb dropped, now I am a few books behind schedule but I am still working toward my goal slowly but surely. I'm not sure if the soon to be changing weather will help or hinder this goal but I can't wait for the warmer weather. Last September my husband and I made a bench out of our first bed, it is my most prized possession and it has taken up permanent residence on our porch. Now that we are having a few days of sunshine and temperatures over 50 the porch and our bench is a perfect retreat. This is one of my favorite things about spring time, just being able to resume some of the activities that were part of everyday life before we had to endure our 6 months of winter.
I have also been on a spring cleaning kick. Mostly because we currently live in such a tiny house and it was a necessity to clean, reorganize and donate unnecessary items just to make room for the baby's crib and changing table. Over the next couple months as I continue to organize and decorate I hope to share with you all of the projects and decorating ideas that we will use to complete our nursery (which will also double as my office).
Spring is a time for renewal and change and our life couldn't be changing more and we can't wait for that fall day in October when we will welcome our newest family member. Happy Spring!
